Albany State University Athletics

Addison Browder joins the Albany State University Athletics Strategic Communications office as the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications, effective July 6, 2026, through the NCAA Division II Internship Grant.

In this role, he will be the main point of contact for media relations related to specific sports, managing aspects like game coverage, statistics, record-keeping, and reporting to both the conference and the NCAA. Additionally, Browder will aid in game-day communication operations, create digital content, and craft strategic narratives to highlight the achievements of Albany State's student-athletes, coaches, and athletic programs.

Prior to his position at Albany State, Browder worked as a Sports Information/Marketing Graduate Assistant at the University of West Georgia. There, he contributed to athletic communications by assisting with game-day operations, writing feature articles, managing statistics, overseeing website updates, and creating social media content. He also gained valuable experience in professional sports while working with the Atlanta Braves as part of the Ballpark Management and Event Operations team at Truist Park.

A Georgia native, Browder holds a master's degree from the University of West Georgia. He is dedicated to increasing the visibility of Golden Rams Athletics through innovative communication strategies and compelling storytelling about student-athletes.
