Lawrence Livingston

Lawrence Livingston kicks off his second season as the offensive line coach at Albany State University.

With more than 29 years of coaching experience, Livingston came to Albany State from Morgan State University, where he served two seasons as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Prior to his stint at Morgan State, Livingston coached the offensive line at Delaware State University for two seasons, and was assistant head coach and offensive line coach at the University of Texas at El Paso from 2004 until 2008.

The Dover, Del., native served as the head coach and offensive coordinator at Earlham College in 2003. He was a participant of the NFL's Minority Internship program, coaching with the Carolina Panthers and the Indianapolis Colts.

Livingston also coached with the University of Wyoming, the University of Arizona, and helped the Texas A&M University Aggies to the Big 12 conference championship and a Sugar Bowl appearance. He coached at Washington State University, which won the Pac 10 championship and a Rose Bowl appearance during his tenure.

Livingston began his coaching career as an assistant offensive line coach as his alma mater, Weber State College. He also coached at the U.S. Military Academy in 1988, and helped the Cadets captured the Commander-In-Chief Trophy and received a bid to the Sun Bowl.

Livingston was a four-year letterman at Weber State, where he earned a degree in physical education and athletic coaching in 1984. He started every game on the offensive line during his collegiate career and was an All-Big Sky Conference team member for three years.

Livingston is a member of several professional and social organizations, including the American Football Coaches Association, Black Coaches Association, Weber State Grid Iron Club and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Livingston and his wife Michelle have two sons, Lawrence Jr. and Theodore.
