Locations:
The Annual Alice Coachman Invitational will be held at the Robert Cross Track and Field Complex located on the campus of Albany State University-East Campus. The Robert Cross Track Facility has a less than 2 years old Beynon SS 300 eight-lane track complete with a Steeple Chase and recently resurfaced jump run-ways.
All Field Event venues are located within the perimeter of the facility
Start Times:
The Men’s Hammer Throw will begin at 8:30 AM Saturday morning. Women will follow the Men. The Javelin Throw (Men then Women) will immediately follow the Hammer Throw. All other field events will begin at 11:30 AM and all running events will begin at 12:30 PM.
Entry Information
All entries MUST be completed at www.directathletics.com . Entries are due by 11:59 pm est. on Thursday April 10, 2025. Entries will not be accepted after the deadline. There is no limit on the number of entries per event.
Team Entry Fees
The entry fee will be $400.00 per gender team. (Payments can be paid online @ www.directathletics.com or by Institutional check).
Unattached or Individual Entry Fees
Unattached and individual entries are $40.00 (Must be paid online @ www.directathletics.com).
Payment Method
Teams must make checks or money order payable to Albany State University; Attn: Track & Field; All individuals or unattached participants must pay online at www.directathletics.com. Please pay at Packet pick up (No Personal Checks accepted).
Meet Information Packets
Packets will be available for pick-up on Friday, April 11th between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Robert Cross Track. In addition, packets are available for pick-up on Saturday, April 12th starting at 7:30 a.m.
Athletic Training/First Aid
ALBANY STATE UNIVERSITY Athletic Trainers will be available for all First-Aid needs (no training modalities). The First Aid tent will be located just outside of the Track South end of the facility. Water will be available in various areas around the competition area. If you have questions or special needs, contact our Athletic Trainer, Titania Lester: titania.lester@asurams.edu
Meet Format
- NCAA rules apply to all events
- Running Events: Sections based on time.
- Field Events: Field events will be limited to four attempts
High Jump and Pole Vault starting heights determined by the Head Field Official based on entries. .
- Timing: Finish Lynx Fully Automatic system.
Results: Live Results will be available on Meet Day via Olympia Timing Resource. Final results will be in TFRRS after the conclusion of the meet.
