ALBANY, Ga. – New Head Football Coach David Bowser has announced the Spring 2026 practice schedule as Albany State builds on the momentum of a historic 12–2 season in 2025.
All 13 spring practices will be held at the ASU Coliseum as the Golden Rams begin preparations for the upcoming season under Bowser's leadership and his program mantra: #GratefulNotEntitled.

"Our standard has been set," said Bowser. "We're grateful for the opportunity to build on what's been established, but nothing is promised. Spring practice is about competing daily, developing depth, and earning everything we get."

The annual Spring Game will be held on Saturday, April 18 at 2:00 p.m., strategically positioned following a major university celebration weekend that includes the Presidential Investiture and Scholarship Gala on April 10–11. The scheduling allows the football program to fully support key institutional events while maintaining strong fan engagement for the Spring Game.

The April 11 scrimmage will coincide with Junior Day, providing prospective student-athletes and their families an opportunity to experience the Golden Rams' culture firsthand.

The Spring Game on April 18 will serve as the culmination of spring practice and offer fans an early look at the 2026 squad as the Golden Rams continue building toward sustained success.
