Golden Rams Class of 2025: A Celebration of Excellence, Endurance, and Legacy

Albany, GA - As the sun rises on a new chapter, Albany State University proudly celebrates the extraordinary accomplishments of its graduating student-athletes from the Class of 2025. This year, the Golden Rams community honors 68 remarkable individuals—16 graduates from December and 49 more crossing the stage this spring—who have demonstrated not only their athletic prowess but also their unwavering commitment to academic achievement and personal growth.

From the roar of the stadium to the quiet resilience in late-night study halls, each student-athlete's journey to this moment has been a testament to perseverance and purpose. The graduating class includes six football players, seven women's basketball players, three soccer players, eight softball players, two men's basketball players, nine women's track & field athletes, six baseball players, two volleyball players, three men's track & field athletes, two cheerleaders, and one athletics intern. They leave Albany State not only as athletes but as scholars, leaders, and role models, having earned bachelor's and master's degrees across various disciplines.

"Watching our student-athletes graduate is the greatest victory of all," said Dr. Kristene Kelly, Director of Athletics. "It means we've kept our promise—to send them back into the world better than they came in. Championships are memorable, but a degree changes lives. That's the legacy we're building at Albany State."

Whether they were chasing titles on the track, diving for the game-winning play, or bringing spirit to the sidelines, these student-athletes exemplify the heart of the Golden Rams spirit: grit, excellence, and the pursuit of greatness both in sport and in life. Today, they graduate not just with diplomas, but with the power to shape their futures—and the courage to lead wherever their paths take them.

Congratulations, Class of 2025. You've made us proud. Once a Ram, always a Ram.
