Albany, GA – The Albany State University Golden Rams are set to take on Benedict College in a highly anticipated SIAC doubleheader on Saturday, February 15, 2025, inside the Jones Brothers HPER Complex on ASU's East Campus. The women's game will tip off at 2:00 PM, followed immediately by the men's game. This matchup also marks Senior Day, where ASU will honor the dedication and contributions of its senior student-athletes.
Women's Basketball: Albany State vs. Benedict College
The Lady Golden Rams (7-13, 4-10) enter the rematch looking to bounce back after a tough loss to Clark Atlanta on February 10. Meanwhile, Benedict (7-15, 5-10) is also seeking to recover following a defeat against Miles College on February 13.
The two teams previously met on January 20, when Benedict secured a 69-55 home victory fueled by an energized crowd. This time, Albany State aims to return the favor on its home court, using Senior Day as extra motivation to even the season series.
Men's Basketball: Albany State vs. Benedict College
The Golden Rams (14-9, 11-5) are eager to defend home court after falling to Clark Atlanta on February 10. On the other hand, Benedict (4-19, 4-12) enters the matchup after a February 10 loss to Edward Waters.
The last time these two teams met on January 20, Albany State earned a 74-64 victory, snapping an eight-game losing streak to the Tigers. The Golden Rams will look to replicate that success and pick up a key conference win in front of their home crowd.
