Albany, GA - The Albany State University Lady Golden Rams women's volleyball team will officially open the 2024 season by participating in the 2024 Bobcat Classic Tournament hosted by Georgia College and State University. The tournament will be on September 6-7, in Milledgeville, Georgia.
The Golden Rams showcased their skills at home on Tuesday, Sept. 3
rd for an electrifying scrimmage against Middle Georgia State University.
"I feel good about this season. I have a good group of girls who have been working very hard this preseason," said Head Coach
Verniece Graham. "This scrimmage allowed me to see what things we need to improve and who would step up when the game gets tight. I'm excited about this year and we will #DoItForMari."
On September 6, the Golden Rams will face Lee University at 11:30 am to kickoff tournament play. After a break in action, ASU plays host, Georgia College and State University at 7 pm to close out the evening.
On September 7, the Golden Rams will resume play versus Young-Harris College at 11:30 am, and at 4:30 pm, the Golden Rams will play the University of West Georgia.
