Mobile, AL – The Albany State Lady Golden Rams were unable to overcome the Spring Hill College Badgers in a SIAC matchup, falling 67-54 at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center. With the loss, Albany State drops to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in conference play, while Spring Hill improves to 3-4 overall and 2-0 in the SIAC.
The game saw Albany State keeping it close in the first half, but Spring Hill pulled away in the second. The Lady Rams were led offensively by
Breana Griffin, who contributed 12 points and 2 rebounds, while
Kayla Herrera added 11 points and 3 rebounds.
Albany State shot 35.9% from the field but couldn't find their rhythm from beyond the arc, hitting just 1 of 10 three-point attempts. The Lady Golden Rams tallied 41 rebounds, including a game-high of seven rebounds by
Keyra Peterson.

The Lady Golden Rams will look to bounce back as they return home to host Agnes Scott on December 4 at the Arena at West Campus. Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM.
