Golden Rams Set for Back-to-Back Road Matchups Against Georgia College and Clayton State

Albany, GA - The Albany State Golden Rams men's basketball team returns to action this week with two challenging road games. The Golden Rams will face Georgia College and State University (GCSU) on Wednesday, December 18, at 7:30 PM, followed by a matchup against Clayton State University on Thursday, December 19, at 6:00 PM.

The Golden Rams (5-4) head into these games after splitting their contests at the YES USVI Basketball Classic this past weekend, defeating Tuskegee University but falling to Claflin University.

Game 1: Georgia College and State University
The Golden Rams are looking to break a three-game losing streak against the Bobcats. In their most recent meeting on December 9, 2023, GCSU captured a 69-61 victory. Albany State's last win over the Bobcats came on November 20, 2019, with a decisive 70-57 score. The Golden Rams will aim to rewrite history with a strong performance on Wednesday night. Game 2: Clayton State University
On Thursday, the Golden Rams will take on Clayton State in a rematch from December 30, 2023, where Albany State fell 49-73 to the Lakers. The Golden Rams are eager to bounce back and prove their growth since their last encounter.
