Jacksonville, FL - The Albany State Lady Golden Rams extended their winning streak in commanding fashion with a 119-46 victory over Trinity Baptist College on December 12 in Jacksonville, FL. With this win, the Lady Golden Rams improved to 3-5 overall, while the Lady Eagles dropped to 0-8.

The Golden Rams showcased a balanced offensive attack, with five players scoring in double figures. Keyra Peterson led the way with a dominant 26-point performance, grabbing 12 rebounds for a double-double. Alaya Grane added 17 points, including three three-pointers, while Johanna Bell chipped in 12 points and five assists. Na'Haviya Paxton contributed 10 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, demonstrating her all-around versatility.

Albany State set the tone early, scoring 27 points in the first quarter while holding Trinity Baptist to just 11. The defensive intensity continued throughout the game, as the Golden Rams forced 31 turnovers, converting them into 43 points. They dominated the paint with 86 points and held a massive 55-20 rebounding advantage.

The Lady Golden Rams shot an impressive 58.4% from the field, while their defense limited Trinity Baptist to 31.0% shooting. Their bench contributed 61 points, emphasizing the team's depth and efficiency.

With the win, Albany State heads into the holiday break on a high note. The Lady Golden Rams will return to action on January 2, hosting Lane College at the West Campus Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 PM as they look to build on their momentum in SIAC play.
