Lady Golden Rams Set for Non-Conference Matchup Against Shorter University

Albany, GA - The Albany State Lady Golden Rams are gearing up for an exciting non-conference battle against the Lady Hawks of Shorter University on Tuesday, November 26, in Rome, GA. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 PM at the Winthrop-King Centre.

The Lady Golden Rams (1-2) enter the contest hungry to rebound from a tough 58-43 loss to SIAC rival Miles College. Despite a strong start, Albany State struggled in the second half, with turnovers proving costly in their conference opener. Keyra Peterson and Na'Haviya Paxton will look to lead the charge as the Lady Golden Rams aim to bounce back on the road.

Shorter University (3-1) comes into tomorrow's game after a hard-fought loss to Montevallo. The Lady Hawks, have shown resilience throughout the early part of their season.

This matchup marks the first meeting between the two programs since December 13, 2012, when the Lady Hawks narrowly edged the Lady Golden Rams 53-49. Albany State will be seeking to even the series and secure a non-conference victory.
