The Albany State Golden Rams had an outstanding baseball season! Coach Hemmings and his coaching staff led the Golden Rams to 38 wins, which is a school record for victories in a season! The Golden Rams were also crowned as the 2023 SIAC regular season champions.
The Golden Rams were crowned as the 2023 D II Black College Champions after defeating the Edward Waters Tigers (8-3) in the championship game at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Alabama.
The Golden Rams were also runner up in the 2023 Black College World Series after being defeated (5-4) in 19 innings to Florida Memorial University in the championship game.
In addition, the Golden Rams had 9 players to be named to the SIAC All Conference Team.
Luke Addison was named the Utility Player of the Year.

Jeremiah Reddell were named Starting Pitchers on the First Team.
Jonathan Logsdon was named to the First Team as a Second Baseman.
Hill Corley was named to the First Team as a Shortstop.
Austin Roberts was named to the First Team as a Third Baseman.
Lavoisier Fisher was named to the First Team as an Outfielder.
Tucker Jordan was named to the First Team as a Designated Hitter.
John Luegering was named to the Second Team as a Relief Pitcher.
