The Albany State Golden Rams baseball team has been crowned as the 2023 D II Black College Champions after defeating the Edward Waters Tigers (8-3) in the championship game on Friday evening at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Alabama. With the win, the Golden Rams will play the winner of the 2023 NAIA Championship game on Saturday.

Zane Ross. The Golden Rams scored their 3
rd run of the game when
Austin Roberts hit a single to right field to score Tyler Jordan.
Hill Corley scored the 4
th run on a fielder's choice to extend the Golden Rams lead to (4-0).
Bradley Smith hit a 2-run homer over the left field fence to give the Golden Rams a (6-0) lead. The Golden Rams scored their 7
