The Albany State Golden Rams and the Savannah State Tigers played an exciting double header at the ASU West Campus Baseball Complex on Saturday afternoon.  The Tigers won game 1 (13-5) and the Golden Rams won game 2 (9-0).  With today's split, the Golden Rams won the weekend series (2-1).  The Golden Rams are now (13-3) overall and (11-1) in the SIAC and the Tigers are (9-5) overall and (7-4) in the SIAC. 
 
In game 1, the Golden Rams took an early (1-0) lead in the bottom of the 3^rd inning when Austin Roberts hit a single to left field to score Jonathan Logsdon. 
 
Trailing (5-1) in the 5^th inning, Chase Karn hit a single to left field to score Tucker Jordan to cut the Tigers lead to (5-2).
 
In the 7^th inning, Chase Karn hit a double to center field to score Tucker Jordan again.  Zane Ross hit an infield single to score Austin Roberts.  Chase Karn scored on a sacrifice fly by Nate Lloyd to cut the Tigers lead to (7-5).
 
The Tigers responded by scoring 5 runs in the top of the 8^th inning and another run in the top of the 9^th inning to defeat the Golden Rams (13-5).
 
Brady Davis fell to (2-1) on the season.  Davis pitched 4 innings and walked 4 batters while striking out 2.
 
In game 2, the Golden Rams were dominant for 7 innings as they shut out the Tigers (9-0). 
 
In the 2^nd inning, Lavoisier Fisher hit a 2-run homer to give the Golden Rams an early (4-0) lead. 
 
In the 3^rd inning, Luke Addison hit a single to right field to score Hill Corley to give the Golden Rams a (5-0).  Chase Karn and Austin Roberts scored when Dominic Rutigliano singled to left field to extend the lead to (7-0).
 
In the 6^th inning, Bradley Smith scored when Austin Roberts singled to left field to score the Golden Rams 9^th run of the game.
 
Landon Kiefer improved to (4-1) as he pitched a masterful 7 innings for the Golden Rams.  Kiefer pitched all 7 innings and only allowed 4 hits while striking out 4 batters.
