The Albany State Golden Rams baseball team remain perfect at home after defeating the Lane College Dragons (11-1) on Sunday afternoon.
With the win, the Golden Rams improved to (8-2) on the season and (6-0) in the SIAC while the Dragons fell to (0-14) and (0-6) in the conference. The Golden Rams are now a perfect (8-0) at home.
Down (0-1) in the 4
th inning, the Golden Rams exploded for 9 runs to take control of the game. The inning was highlighted by
Lavoisier Fisher's 6
th home run of the season. Hill Corey and
Tucker Jordan's singles as well as
Zane Ross' double also scored runs in the 4
th inning.

Landon Kiefer improved to (2-1) after earning the win for the Golden Rams. Kiefer pitched 6 innings and struck out 3 batters while allowing 1 earned run.
