The Golden Rams women's basketball team lost (78-36) to the Georgia Southwestern University Hurricanes on Thursday evening, in Americus, Georgia.  The Golden Rams have lost 9 straight games to the Hurricanes. 
 
With the loss, the Golden Rams are now (0-8) on the season.  The Hurricanes improved to (4-1) on the season. 
 
The Golden Rams scored 4 total points in the 1^st quarter and 15 points in the 1^st half.  At the half, the Golden Rams trailed (39-15). 
 
In the 3^rd quarter, the Golden Rams were outscored (26-5) by the Hurricanes. 
 
The Golden Rams outscored the Hurricanes (16-13) in the 4^th quarter.  But, it wasn't enough to overcome the large lead established by the Hurricanes.
 
The Golden Rams had 2 players that finished in double figures.  Keyra Peterson finished with 11 points and 4 rebounds.  Milana Holmes also finished with 12 points. 
 
Lexi McCully lead the Hurricanes with 12 points.  Destiny Garrett added 11 points while Shane Jackson contributed with 10 points.
 
The Golden Rams will be back in action against Lane College on Saturday, December 2, in Jackson, Tennessee.
