The Golden Rams lost (74-63) to Johnson C. Smith University on day 2 of the SIAC/ CIAA Challenge on Saturday afternoon, in Atlanta, Georgia.  With the loss, the Golden Rams fell to (0-5) on the season while the Golden Bulls improved to (1-2).
 
The Golden Rams trailed (18-15) at the end of the 1^st quarter.  But, a dismal 2^nd quarter doomed the Golden Rams as they were outscored by 18 points and trailed (44-23) at the half.
 
The Golden Rams outscored the Golden Bulls (40-30) in the 2^nd half, but the hole was too deep to overcome as the Golden Bulls won their 1^st game of the season.
 
Elisa Saffold led the Golden Rams with 17 points and 3 rebounds.  Yasmine Fairchild finished with 15 points and 8 rebounds.  Keyra Peterson recorded a double-double as she finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
 
Ciara Harris led the Golden Bulls with 21 points and 12 rebounds.  Kelis Carmon finished with 18 points and 4 rebounds.  Queen Ruffin added 15 points and 6 rebounds.
 
The Golden Rams will play Georgia Southern University in an exhibition at 6:00 pm on Monday, November 20, in Statesboro, Georgia.
