The Albany State Golden Rams lost 73-59 to the Savannah State Tigers in the SIAC Semi-Finals in Rock Hill, SC. 
 
The Tigers started fast as they built an 18-7 lead at the end of the 1^st quarter and eventually led 33-18 at the half.  The Golden Rams made 6 out of 29 attempts from the field in the 1^st half.
 
The Golden Rams made a furious comeback and cut the Tigers lead to 6 points with 7 minutes remaining in game.  The Tigers regained control and cruised to a 14-point victory.  It was the Savannah State Tigers third time defeating the Golden Rams this season.
 
Kashay Hankerson came off the bench to score 17 points and grab 6 rebounds.  Brielle Johnson contributed with 16 points off the bench.
 
Bria Gibbs paced the Tigers with 16 points and 14 rebounds.  Amari Heard finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds off the bench.  Mia Goolsby contributed with 10 points.
