The Albany State Golden Rams volleyball team defeated the Paine College Lions in three sets on Thursday night in Augusta, Georgia.  The Golden Rams defeated the Lions (25-16, 25-16 & 25-10).  With the win, the Golden Rams improved to (17-7) overall.  The Golden Rams are now (4-3) on the road.  The Lions fell to (2-20) overall. 
 
Super sophomore Sydney Melton led the Golden Rams with (9) kills.  Chelsea Doswell finished with 28 of the Golden Rams (36) assists.  Hailey Elyicio and Sydney Melton both had (9) digs a piece for the Golden Rams.
 
The Golden Rams will play Allen University at 6:30 pm in Columbia, South Carolina, on Friday, November 4.  The Golden Rams and Yellow Jackets last played on October 28, 2022.  On that day, the Golden Rams won by the score of (3-0).
