In game 2, the Golden Rams were defeated by the LeMoyne-Owen College Magicians 85-68 at the ASU West Arena.  With the loss, the Golden Rams are now 1-4.  The Magicians improved to 3-1 overall.
 
The Golden Rams started extremely slow as the Magicians were in double figures before Albany State scored any points.  Albany State made a run to end the half and trailed 35-30 at the break.  Eight players eventually scored in the 1^st half for the Golden Rams.  Maxwell Harris led the Golden Rams with 8 points off the bench in the 1^st half.
 
The 2^nd half started exactly like the 1^st half.  The Golden Rams were ice cold from the field as the Magicians increased their lead to as many as 20 points.  The Golden Rams were outscored 50-38 in the 2^nd half. 
 
Maxwell Harris led the Golden Rams in scoring by pouring in a game high of 18 points.  Khalif Napolean chipped in with 10 points.  Jordan Simpson led the Golden Rams in rebounds by securing 9.
 
Trevor Blackmon and Jaquan Lawrence finished with 17 points each for the Magicians.  Micah Evans (12), Tariq Shepard (10) and Gerard Wilson (10) also scored in double figures.
 
The Golden Rams will host Miles College at the ASU West Arena on Monday, November 29.
