On Friday, November 12, Albany State University was the host site of the 2021 SIAC & CIAA Women's Basketball Challenge and the SIAC & SSC Men's Challenge.

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SIAC) was represented by Albany State University (Men & Women) and Clark-Atlanta University.  The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) was represented by Johnson C. Smith University and Elizabeth City State University.  The Sunshine State Conference (SSC) was represented by Barry University. 
 
After trailing 40-26 at the half, Johnson C. Smith rallied in the 2^nd half to defeat Clark-Atlanta University 70-69.  Aubriana Bonner led Johnson C. Smith with 14 points.  Ciara Harris and Randi Neal chipped in with 13 points each.  Shaniya Jones also contributed with 10 points.
 
In game 2, Elizabeth City State defeated Albany State 60-50.  Naterria Luster led Elizabeth City State with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.  Juanisha Black was a key contributor for Albany State by scoring 8 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.  Kierra York also finished with 9 points and 5 rebounds.
 
In the final game of the evening, Barry University defeated Albany State 91-80.  Michael Schaefer led Barry with 21 points and 7 rebounds.  James Montgomery finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds.  Albany State had 4 players in double figures.  Travis Baker led the Golden Rams with 16 points.  Victor Robinson and Malik Parker finished with 15 points each.  Maxwell Harris was the 4^th leading scorer with 12 points.
General admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids.  All games will be played at the Jones Brothers HPER Complex located on the East Campus at Albany State University.
