WTEN CENTRAL: Golden Rams at Spring Tennis Fest

ALBANY, Ga. (March 11, 2020) – The Albany State University women's tennis team returns to action on March 12-13 as they travel to Hilton head Island, South Carolina as they compete in the 2020 Spring Tennis Fest.

Albany State (5-5) takes on Fairmont State University (5-3) at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday. After the FSU contest the Golden Rams will face Thomas More University at 3:30 p.m. The Golden Rams will face Edinboro University of Pennsylvania on Friday at 9:00 a.m. They will close out the day against Sweet Briar College at 4 p.m.

The Golden Rams are coming off a 7-0 victory over Agnes Scott College on Saturday, February 29^th.

The Falcons of Fairmont State University enters the contest coming off a 7-0 victory over Edinboro on March 10^th.

The Saints of Thomas More University enters the contest coming off a 7-0 victory over Lawrence Tech on Monday, March 9th.

The Fighting Scots of Edinboro enters the contest coming off a 0-7 loss to Fairmont State University on Monday, March 10^th.

UP NEXT: Albany State University women's tennis team will host the Hurricanes of Georgia Southwestern State University on Thursday, March 19^th at 2 p.m.
