Box Score ALBANY, Ga. – Senior Kamil Brown scored 17 points and dished out four assists to help the Albany State men's basketball team to a 73-53 win over Paine Montana on Thursday night at the ASU West Campus Arena.
 
ASU (15-11 overall) extended its home winning streak to two games.
 
The Golden Rams never trailed in the contest taking a 12-9 lead just over midway through the first half, to take a 34-24 lead in the locker room at the half.
 
ASU brought the same momentum into the second half opening with a 15-0 run over a four-minute stretch to grow its lead 41-26 with 15:34 left in the contest.
 
The Golden Rams would continue to add points with adding its final points of the contest on a 3-pointer by Joshua Jerome to cruise to the 73-51 victory.
 
Five Golden Rams finished the contest scoring in double-digits. Joshua Jerome finished the game with 16 points and seven rebounds. Senior Napoleon Harris contributed 12 points. Rounding out the double-digit scoring was Mario Young and Randy McClure who both added 10 each respectively.
ASU committed only 13 turnovers in the game while forcing the Lions into 20. The Golden Rams posted a 22-4 edge in points on turnovers.
 
ASU hosts Benedict College on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 3 p.m.
