ALBANY, Ga. (March 27, 2019) - The Albany State University women's tennis team returns to action on Thursday as they host Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) rival Fort Valley State University at the Courts at Albany State University West Campus.
 
The Golden Rams' match against Fort Valley State University (2-9, 2-4 SIAC) gets underway at 2 p.m.
 
Following its performance at the SIAC Tennis Roundup Two, Albany State (5-12, 3-8 SIAC) finished the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Roundup at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center, yielding a 1-7 overall decision. The Golden Rams collected a victory over Lane College.

ABOUT THE SERIES: The Golden Rams hold a 5-4 record against Fort Valley State University. The last time the two schools met was during the 2018 SIAC Tennis Championship where the Golden Rams secured a 5-1 victory and claiming the SIAC Championship Title.
