ALBANY, Ga. (March 11,2019) – The Albany State University women's tennis team returns to action on March 14-15
th as they travel to Hilton head Island, South Carolina as they compete in the 2019 Spring Tennis Fest.
Albany State (4-2) takes on East Stroudsburg University (2-3) at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday. After the ESU contest the Golden Rams will face Wisconsin Lutheran College on Friday at 8:30 a.m.
The Golden Rams are coming off a 0-7 loss to Huntingdon College on Friday, march 8
th.
The Warriors of East Stroudsburg University enters the contest coming off a 5-2 victory over Shepherd University on March 10
th.
The Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors enters the contest coming off a 8-1 loss to Carroll University on Saturday, March 9
th.
ABOUT THE SERIES: The Golden Rams will face both East Stroudsburg University and Wisconsin Lutheran College for the first time in school history during the Spring Tennis Fest.
UP NEXT: Albany State University women's tennis team will travel to Mobile, Alabama to participate in the 2019 SIAC Tennis Roundup Two. The Golden Rams will face Clark Atlanta University and Spring Hill College on Thursday, March 21
st at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Following those matches ASU will face Fort Valley State University at 4:00 p.m. to close out day one.
Albany State will face LeMoyne-Owen and Benedict College on Saturday, March 22
nd at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. day two of the roundup.
The Golden Rams will close out the roundup with competitions against Tuskegee University and Lane College on Saturday, March 23
rd at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
All matched will be played at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center which is located at 851 Gaillard Drive, Mobile, Alabama 36608.
