AUGUSTA, Ga. | The Golden Rams played their final road regular season contest of the year on Monday when they traveled to Paine College to take on the Lions.

Albany State led bell-to-bell in the contest; making their first basket of the night, a layup from Napoleon Harris, and never trailed throughout the entire 40 minutes.

The Golden Rams saw the lead swell to as many as 19 points on a night where the visitors shot 50 percent from the floor. 

Tyrell Williams paced Albany State (12-14, 11-5) with 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting and 14 rebounds. Randy McClure and Jared Harrington both scored 13 points for ASU.

Cameron Gaines led Paine (6-15, 5-9) with 18 points.

ASU plays their final SIAC contest on Saturday, February 16th, when they host the Wildcats of Fort Valley State University. Game time is scheduled for 8:00 pm
