ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. | Albany State traveled to Florida on Wednesday for a mid-week game with Eckerd College.
The Golden Rams got off to a slow start, falling behind 34-10 after one period.Â
The Eckerd offense proved too much to keep pace with as the home team led bell-to-bell and finished with 20 made three pointers on 37 attempts (54%).Â
Ashley Johnson scored a team-high 12 points for Albany State (5-10) while Uchemdirim Ibebunjo netted 10 points and four rebounds.
Mikayla Kuehne recorded a double-double Eckerd (7-4), finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
ASU travels to Mobile, Ala. for a conference matchup with Spring Hill on Saturday, January 5th. Tip off is set for 2:00 pm CST.
