ALBANY, Ga. |  It took overtime, but Albany State won their second consecutive game and remained unbeaten in conference play as they defeated Kentucky State, 72-69.
Four Golden Rams players reached double-figures in the win, led by Alexandria James who finished with 17 points including a jumper with 13 seconds remaining in regulation to tie the game and force overtime. 
Trailing by one point with 18 seconds to go in overtime, Yolanda Givens made a contested layup to give Albany State (2-6, 2-0) the lead. ASU then forced a turnover and Givens iced the game by making two free throws after being fouled. 
Uchemdirim Ibebunjo posted a double-double, finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds. 
Brooke Wallace had a game-high 21 points for Kentucky State (3-4, 0-2).
The Golden Rams have a quick turnaround as they Thomas University on Tuesday, November 27th at the Arena at West Campus. Tipoff is set for 5:30 pm.
