ALBANY, Ga. | Tyrell Williams finished just shy of a double-double in Albany State's home loss to Georgia College on Tuesday night.
The Golden Rams outshot the Bobcats, making 53 percent of their shots to the visitor's 44 percent. The difference though, Georgia College registered 18 second chance points to the host school's five.
Williams led Albany State (1-4) with 13 points and eight rebounds. Jonathan Henderson posted 14 points for the Golden Rams while Mario Young added 12 points. Jared Harrington also reached double-figures with 11 points.
Kohl Roberts had a game-high 19 points and 10 rebounds for Georgia College (4-1).
Albany State opens up conference play on Saturday, November 24th, when they host Central State. CSU won the lone contest between the schools last year, 72-67 in Ohio. Tipoff is set for 3:00 pm at the Arena at West Campus.Â
