VALDOSTA, Ga. | Four Golden Rams players scored in double-figures Thursday night, but it was not enough as the 11th ranked Blazers of Valdosta State took down ASU, 127-92.
A season-high output in points (92) and shooting percentage (51%) was in vain as the host Blazers scorched the Albany State defense, burying 16 three pointers and shooting 62 percent from the field. VSU made the most of 15 Golden Rams' turnovers, converting them into 30 points.
Randy McClure, Tyrell Williams, and Mario Young each scored 17 points for Albany State (0-3). Jonathan Henderson added 10 points for the Golden Rams. McClure led the team with six rebounds and five assists.
Beau Justice had a game-high 26 points for Valdosta State (4-0).
The Golden Rams are at home on Saturday, November 17th, when they host Georgia Southwestern State University. Tipoff is scheduled fo 3:00 pm at the Arena at West Campus.
