ALBANY, Ga. | Albany State hosted conference foe Benedict on Saturday. The Golden Rams took down the visiting Tigers in straight sets, 25-20, 25-23, 25-18.
 
Keonna Hobbs posted one of her best games of the season for Albany State (6-13, 6-4). Hobbs finished with nine kills on a .455 hitting percentage. Jannai Cheeks led the team with 15 kills on a .355 hitting. Ciara Chapman had 35 of the Golden Rams' 38 assists.
 
Jolesia McClenton added three service aces for the Golden Rams. McClenton is 2^nd in the SIAC in aces per set.

Benedict (10-8, 5-4) was led by Kiera Brothers with 11 kills.
 
Albany State is back in action on Thursday, October 11^th, when they host Claflin at the HPER Complex. Game time is scheduled for 6 pm EST.
