ALBANY, Ga. | The Golden Rams avenged a home conference loss from earlier this month on Thursday night, going on the road to Clark Atlanta and beating the Lady Panthers 3-2 (25-22, 19-25, 25-20, 24-26, 15-10).
Albany State (8-13, 8-4) pulled within a half game of Clark Atlanta for first place in the SIAC East Division.
The Golden Rams had three different players end the night with double-digit kills. Keonna Hobbs led the way with 13 kills followed by Jannai Cheeks with 12 kills. Yadira Lyons added 11 kills for Albany State. Ciara Chapman paced the visiting team with 43 assists and seven aces.
Kia Thomas had a game-high 15 kills for Clark Atlanta (9-8, 9-4).
Albany State will make up their previously scheduled game with Paine on Friday night, October 26th, at 6:00 pm. The Golden Rams will be honoring this year's senior class:

Ciara Chapman.
