BIRMINGHAM, AL- Kentucky State University topped Albany State University in three sets in the final game of the SIAC Crossover Saturday morning at the CrossPlex.

With the win the Thorobreds snap the Golden Rams win streak at four matches. ASU finishes the Crossover event with a record of 4-3 and improve to 6-6 (SIAC 6-3) on the season.

KSU improves to 10-5 overall as they swept through the SIAC Crossover undefeated. Robin Poole led the way for the Thorobreds with 12 kills against 4 errors, 10 digs, a solo block and an assisted block. She was the only player from either team to post double digits in kills.

For Albany State, Jalesia McClenton had a season high 21 digs while Keonna Hobbs and Brittianni Phillips each had 5 kills apiece.
