WOMEN'S SOCCER SUFFERS A 4-0 SHUTOUT TO YOUNG HARRIS

YOUNG HARRIS, GA- Young Harris College scored three first half goals in route to a 4-0 shutout of Albany State University Wednesday afternoon.

Lucero Robayo had two unassisted goals in the game, one before halftime at minute 37:14 while her second accounted for the only score of second half at the 71:22 mark.

Wednesday's represented Albany State's best offensive effort of the season highs in shots (8) and shots on goal (5). The 4 goals by Young Harris is also a season low allowed for an ASU opponent.

Young Harris' Emily Ober got the first goal of the game on an assist from Robayo at the 8:39 mark. Less than a minute later the Mountain Lions scored again, this courtesy of Baylee Roche.

For ASU, Reagan Melvin led the offense with 4 shots, 2 on goal. Goalkeeper Abby Whiteside finished with a 14 saves effort on the afternoon.
