COLUMBIA, S.C.- After splitting a pair of games that included a high-scoring 18-16 win over Benedict on Saturday, the Albany State baseball team struggled to find offense in Sunday afternoon's series finale. ASU lost a close 4-2 contest to the Tigers on Sunday.

With the loss, the Golden Rams fall to 5-18 overall and 4-2 in the SIAC. BC improves to 14-7, 4-2. The two teams are tied with Paine for first place in the SIAC East Division.

Albany State fell behind 1-0 after the first inning and 3-0 after the fourth. ASU attempted a rally in the top of the fifth inning. Chasen Roulhac hit a two-run homer to cut the Golden Rams' deficit to 3-2.
