ASU (1-3 overall) dropped a 63-49 decision to Georgia College on Nov. 22. After trailing by as many as 20 points, Albany State made a comeback, but it fell short in the second half. Junior forward Devontay Ward led the way with an impressive stat line. The 6'7 Moultrie, Ga. native recorded 13 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and two blocks. Sophomore guard Michael Green added 11 points, five rebounds and two blocks.

The two programs each own a win over the other in the short series history. During the 2014-2015 season, Albany State won at home 76-74. The Skyhawks defeated ASU 76-62 in Albany last season.
