Game Day RAM-blings Albany State Men's Basketball vs. Georgia Southwestern State

The Albany State Golden Rams will open their home schedule on Saturday, Nov. 19 when they face off against the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes at ASU HPER Gymnasium. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
 
ASU (0-2 overall) is coming off a loss to in-state rival Valdosta State University 88-80 in the SIAC-Gulf South Classic. Freshman Randy McClure scored 15 points and added five rebounds to lead the team. Junior forward Devontay Ward recorded 14 points and eight rebounds, and freshman guard Jackson Lenyear talled 11 points and four assists.
 
Georgia Southwestern State (1-1 overall) recorded their first win of the season with the 62-49 victory over Auburn-Montgomery University. Desmond DeRamus tallied 12 points and 11 rebound to lead the Hurricanes. Julius McCoy added 12 points, and Jarett Croff had 11 points and eight rebounds.  Georgia Southwestern is a member of the Peach Belt Conference in NCAA Division II
 
The two teams met last year in Americus, Ga. on Nov. 23. GSW won the contest 73-65.

Fans can be admitted to the Georgia-Southwestern game with a canned good or toy for the ASU Department of Athletics holiday drives.
