Game Day RAM-blings- Albany State @ Miles College

The Albany State Golden Rams and Miles College Golden Bears are set to meet at Albert J. Sloan-Alumni Stadium in Fairfield, Alabama. This will be the 54th meeting between the two programs, with Albany State leading the overall series 35-15-3. The last meeting between the school occurred in 2014 when ASU defeated MC 14-7 Albany.

Last week, Albany State lost its third game of the season, dropping a 40-0 decision to 5th-ranked Delta State. Quarterback Caleb Edmonds recorded 213 passing yards and added 50 rushing yards to lead the ASU offense. Safety Nick Scott led the Albany State defense with 12.5 tackles, and Zavondric Shingleton added 10.5 tackles. Keldreion Miller had two interceptions.

Miles College enters the contest with a 1-3 overall record and 1-0 in the SIAC. The Golden Bears defeated SIAC foe Morehouse College 13-10 last week. Freshman Jamarcus Nance ran for 85 yards and a touchdown and kicker Nick Christiansen booted two field goals - one from 56 yards - to provide the scoring. Ashton McKenzie had five solo tackles, two sacks, three tackles for loss and two forced fumbles.
