Albany State University Athletics

Ashley Jones enters her first season as the Women’s Basketball Program Coordinator for Albany State University, bringing energy, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to student-athlete success. A 2025 graduate of Albany State with a bachelor’s degree in Communication, Jones is continuing her academic journey by pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Management from Georgia Southern University.

During her time as a student at Albany State, Jones was actively involved in campus life and developed a passion for athletics administration. In her new role, she will oversee the day-to-day operations of the women’s basketball program, assisting with team logistics, academic coordination, and program support to ensure a positive student-athlete experience.

A native of Valdosta, Ga., Jones is eager to contribute to the continued growth of the Lady Golden Rams under the leadership of interim head coach Todd Triplett. She is a proud member of Alpha Phi Omega.
