Albany State welcomed Titania to the Athletic Training in July 2024.
Titania Lester is a certified athletic trainer with extensive experience in high school and collegiate sports, injury assessment, rehabilitation, and sports medicine. Currently, in her second year of athletic training, Titania gained hands-on experience through rotations with the Academy for Classical Education and Mary Persons High School, where she was responsible for assessing and managing sports injuries, implementing rehabilitation protocols, applying therapeutic modalities, and ensuring medical documentation accuracy.
Her expertise extends to NCAA Division I athletics through her work with Mercer University and Peach County High School, where she gained critical experience in event preparation, lower extremity evaluation, and athlete care. Titania also completed a summer immersive with Piedmont Orthopedic Complex, where she contributed to rehabilitation programs and learned about clinic operations, including billing practices.
Titania holds a Master of Athletic Training from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from Albany State University. She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association and is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainers.
