ALBANY, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its 2026 ESPN+ football broadcast schedule, and the Golden Rams' football team will be featured on the national streaming platform five times during the regular season.
The Golden Rams' nationally televised slate begins on Saturday, Sept. 26, when Albany State hosts Kentucky State at ASU Coliseum. The Golden Rams then travel to face Tuskegee on Oct. 17 before returning home the following week to take on Benedict on Oct. 24.
Albany State will also be featured on Halloween (Oct. 31) when the Golden Rams host Clark Atlanta. The final ESPN+ appearance comes on Nov. 7 during one of Division II's premier rivalries as the Golden Rams face Fort Valley State in the Fountain City Classic.
Head Coach David Bowser believes the national exposure will provide an opportunity to showcase not only the football program but the university as a whole.
"It is very exciting to know that Albany State University Football will have several games on national television. This means more exposure for a program with a rich history and championship pedigree."
Bowser also emphasized the broader impact the broadcasts can have beyond the football field.
"These games will introduce this great institution to new regions and potential partnerships throughout the U.S. to grow our brand of excellence."
With five nationally streamed contests, the Golden Rams will have multiple opportunities to showcase their tradition, compete in front of a national audience, and continue building the Albany State brand throughout the 2026 season.
