Albany, GA - Albany State University Football, led by Head Coach Quinn Gray, is proud to announce the signing of 25 new prospective student-athletes to the Golden Rams program for the 2025 season. National Signing Day, held on Wednesday, February 5, marked a significant step in the continued growth of the program as ASU secured a talented and diverse recruiting class.
This year's signing class is heavily rooted in the Southeast, with a strong presence from Georgia and Florida. Nineteen of the signees hail from across Georgia, including key additions from Leesburg and Columbus. Additionally, the Golden Rams extended their recruiting footprint into Florida, landing six standout players from the Jacksonville and Tallahassee areas.
Coach Gray and his staff focused on bolstering depth and competition across multiple positions. The newest members of the Golden Rams include two defensive backs, three defensive ends, three defensive tackles, one kicker, three linebackers, five offensive linemen, one punter, one quarterback, one safety, one tight end, two wide receivers, one long snapper, and one cornerback. This balanced class addresses key positional needs and adds a strong mix of athleticism, versatility, and skill to the team.
With the 2025 signing class now officially in place, Albany State looks ahead to offseason training and preparation for the upcoming season. The Golden Rams are eager to integrate their new talent into the program and continue building a championship-caliber team.
