Their opponent, Savannah State (11-13, 7-11 SIAC), is also looking to bounce back after a 67-60 loss to Fort Valley State. Savannah State (13-11, 11-9 SIAC) has momentum of its own, entering the contest after a convincing 68-52 win over Fort Valley State on February 24. The Tigers will aim to protect their home court, but Albany State already proved capable of beating them, securing a 65-56 victory on January 11.
