Albany, GA – Albany State University (ASU) has announced a schedule update for the upcoming football game against Kentucky State University. The game, originally slated for 2:00 PM, has been rescheduled to kick off at 4:00 PM at the ASU Coliseum. The game will also mark
Community/Faculty and Staff Day, where we invite our community, faculty, and staff to come out and support the Golden Rams.
"Due to the potential impact of Hurricane Helene, we've rescheduled our game against Kentucky State to 4 pm on Saturday to prioritize the safety of our student-athletes, fans, and community," said Dr. Kristene Kelly, Director of Athletics. "The well-being of everyone involved is always our top concern, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to seeing you there, ready to cheer on the Golden Rams!"
Game Details
The Golden Rams enter the contest with a 1-2 overall record (1-0 SIAC) and are coming off a 28-7 win over Central State. Kentucky State is currently 0-4 overall (0-1 SIAC). Last season, ASU defeated KSU 33-27 in Frankfort, KY.
