Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Albany, GA- Saturday, September 21, marked the second day of competition for the Albany State University (ASU) Lady Golden Rams in the SIAC Crossover Tournament. With two key matchups on the schedule, the Lady Golden Rams took to the court early, facing Kentucky State at 9:00 AM and concluding the day with a 4:30 PM showdown against LeMoyne-Owen College.

Match 1: ASU vs. Kentucky State
The Lady Golden Rams opened the day with a strong showing against the Kentucky State Thorobreds, cruising to a decisive 3-0 victory. Kennedi Wallace was unstoppable on the attack, leading the charge with a game-high 16 kills, overwhelming Kentucky State's defense.

Maya Ogbogu had a well-rounded performance, contributing three aces to keep the Thorobreds off balance while adding eight kills and two blocks at the net. Her versatility made her a key factor in ASU's success throughout the match.
Liannette Burgos continued her impressive play from day one, orchestrating the offense with precision. She dished out 26 assists, ensuring the Lady Golden Rams' hitters were in prime position to capitalize on every opportunity. ASU's offense was in sync from start to finish, controlling the tempo and securing another sweep.

Match 2: ASU vs. LeMoyne Owen College
After a short break, ASU returned to the court for their second match of the day, facing off against Lane College. The Lady Golden Rams carried their momentum and confidence from their earlier win against Kentucky State into the evening matchup.

With three solid victories under their belt after two days of play, Albany State Volleyball is proving to be a force in the SIAC Crossover Tournament. They continue to display strong teamwork, led by standout performances from Kennedi Wallace, Maya Ogbogu, and Liannette Burgos, and look poised for a deep run in the tournament.
