Albany, GA- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced its 2023-24 SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team, All-Academic Team, and individual team honors on Wednesday evening (July 3). The SIAC recognized 1,127 student-athletes, out of whom 96 student-athletes from Albany State were honored for their outstanding academic achievements.


"I am incredibly proud of our student-athletes who have been named to the SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team," said Director of Athletics, Dr. Kristene Kelly. "Their hard work and commitment to their studies inspire
 us all. Congratulations to each of them for this well-deserved recognition."

The SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team consists of student-athletes who excelled in their respective sports and the classroom, maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher for the academic year.

Student-athletes selected for the SIAC All-Academic Team achieved the highest cumulative grade point averages in their respective sports.
