ASU Athletics Launches Helmet Fundraising Project

Pledge to #MoveTheNeedle by May 1st

PURCHASE HELMET

April 17, 2024

Dear Albany State Football RAMily,

As the Director of Athletics and alongside Head Coach Quinn Gray, Sr., we are reaching out to share a crucial initiative that holds the power to significantly impact our program's future: the Helmet Fundraising Project. With a goal to purchase 100 helmets by May 1st, each at $375, we invite you, our alumni, friends, parents and supporters, to play a pivotal role.

In our inaugural season under Coach Gray's leadership, our Golden Rams achieved a 6-5 record, winning three classics they participated in and secured a berth in the SIAC Championship Game. Now, embracing our mottos #AllIn and #MoveTheNeedle, we are looking to elevate our program's safety and competitive edge.

Why Your Contribution Matters:

Your support will directly enhance our athletes' safety, allowing them to perform at their highest potential with confidence. Investing in top-notch equipment is paramount, and through this project, you are not just funding helmets—you are investing in our athletes' future, both on and off the field.

Acknowledging Your Generosity:

To express our gratitude, we've established a recognition program for our contributors:

·         $375: In addition to sponsoring one (1) helmet, your name will be featured in our game-day programs and on our athletics website.

How to Join the Initiative:

To make your contribution, please donate through the ASU Foundation. When donating, kindly specify "Football Helmet Project" in the memo line to ensure your support is directed appropriately. To pay by check or credit card, please call the ASU Foundation at 229-500-3286.

Thank you for considering supporting Albany State Football through this critical initiative. Together, we can make a substantial difference, moving the needle towards success in our program's next chapter.

Warm regards,

Kristene Kelly, Ed.D.                                                               Quinn Gray, Sr.
