Albany, GA - The Albany State Lady Golden Rams are back in SIAC action this weekend, taking on Kentucky State and Central State in a crucial conference road trip. Coming off a dominant 107-37 victory over Agnes Scott on December 4, the Lady Golden Rams (2-4) are looking to maintain momentum and secure their first conference wins of the season.
Saturday, December 7: Albany State vs. Kentucky State
Albany State will first face the Lady Thorobreds of Kentucky State on Saturday, December 7, at 2 PM CT in Frankfort, KY. Kentucky State (3-5, 2-1 SIAC) enters the matchup after a 53-72 loss to Edward Waters on December 2 and will be looking to rebound on their home court. The last meeting between Albany State and Kentucky State came on December 18, 2023, with the Thorobreds claiming a 72-63 victory.

Monday, December 9: Albany State vs. Central State
The Lady Golden Rams will then travel to Wilberforce, OH, to face the Central State Lady Marauders on Monday, December 9, at 5:30 PM. Central State (4-2, 3-0 SIAC) enters the contest after a 55-49 victory over Savannah State on December 2. In their last meeting on December 16, 2023, Central State defeated Albany State 70-57, and the Lady Golden Rams will look to reverse that outcome this time around.
This weekend's conference matchups provide Albany State with an opportunity to build on its recent success and make a strong statement in the SIAC standings.
