Box Score Albany, GA – The Albany State Lady Golden Rams saw their win streak interrupted by the Fort Valley State Lady Wildcats, falling 3-1 in a tightly contested match on Wednesday night. With the loss, Albany State moves to 17-8 overall and 15-3 in SIAC play, while Fort Valley State improved to 13-7, 11-3 SIAC.

Albany State put up a strong fight, highlighted by another standout performance from Jarianis Perez, who led the team with 15 kills and added three service aces. She received support at the net from Kennedi Wallace with eight kills and three blocks, while Maya Ogbogu added six kills and two blocks of her own. Setters Mimi Harris and Natalie Onozie distributed the ball well, tallying 15 and 14 assists, respectively.

On the defensive end, Talia Smith anchored the back row with an impressive 22 digs, followed by Sydney Melton with 10 digs and Onozie with nine. Despite these efforts, Fort Valley State's relentless attack proved too strong, allowing the Lady Wildcats to secure the win.
