Albany, GA – The Albany State University Lady Golden Rams volleyball team is set to close out their non-conference schedule with an exciting rematch against the Talladega College Lady Tornadoes on October 28 in Talladega, AL. The match will take place at 6 p.m. and promises to be a highly anticipated battle as both teams enter with momentum from recent winning streaks.
Riding a four-game winning streak, the Lady Golden Rams (13-2, 11-2 SIAC) are coming off back-to-back conference series wins, showcasing their dominance on the court and putting them in prime form for their showdown against the Lady Tornadoes. Talladega College also comes in hot after sweeping their four-game win streak in the HBCUAC Crossover tournament this past weekend, adding extra stakes to the matchup.
The last meeting between the two teams on September 13, 2024, saw Talladega secure a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Albany State, tying the series at 2-2 dating back to 2016. With the series up for grabs and both teams eager to continue their streaks, this final non-conference game is poised to deliver high-level competition.
